Most kids dream of becoming an astronaut or singer, but not Louanne Ferro.

Taking a pair of scissors like a duck to water at age 11, this San Diego native has a passion for hair that has taken her to the tents of NYFW and beyond.

A self proclaimed lover of science, Louanne has taken both college chemistry classes and is a certified trichologist through the International Association of Trichology.

She is the owner of Joy. A Hair Space. She has been a stylist since 2002 and a salon owner since 2013. She’s also been a international educator for corporate beauty brands since 2005 and currently working for Evo Haircare.

Every client is bound to learn something new about hair while sitting in her chair and don’t be suprised if you leave the salon with some hair homework!

Ashley’s passion for the art of hair began at a young age, long before she ever stepped foot in a salon. What started as a natural talent and self-taught curiosity quickly grew into a full-blown calling. Driven by her hunger for knowledge and dedication to her craft, she enrolled in cosmetology school and graduated in 2007.

Soon after, Ashley was hired by an exclusive salon where she completed an intensive training program, mastering advanced cutting and coloring techniques from TIGI, along with chemical services, up-styling, and makeup artistry.

Never one to settle, Ashley continues to push her creative boundaries—staying on top of emerging trends, refining her own innovative techniques, and investing in advanced education through workshops, classes, and live demonstrations.

Her enthusiasm, artistry, and years of experience shine through in every guest she works with—making each visit as inspiring as it is beautiful.

Stylist + Colorist + Makeup Artist

Trained by some of the coolest cats in Las Vegas, Nevada, Bug is back home in San Diego to devote themselves to community care through hair.

A flamboyantly fruity femme with a knack for all things science and color, Bug dives into their craft with tenacity and technicality.

They have been behind the chair since 2022 and doing makeup since 2019.

They spark creative influence from the 80’s-90’s club kid scene, New Order, the drag scene, and the leather community.

Serving San Diego’s trans, queer, disabled, and neurodivergent population with a background in youth activism and national LGBTQ+ public service, Bug holds their work in this community with love and honor, encouraging everyone who sits in their chair to embrace their most authentic selves.

Bug is a bi-coastal stylist and space is limited for new clients.

Gracie Luna is a licensed hairstylist and color enthusiast specializing in transformative hair extensions and bespoke color services.

Since graduating in January 2024, she's been creating stunning looks that empower her clients. With training in precision techniques and a passion for artistry, Gracie crafts everything from bold, vivid hues to natural, lived-in looks.

Whether you're looking for a seamless extension blend, a rich, dimensional color, or a flawless blowout Gracie brings her expertise and creativity to every client.

When she's not styling, she's probably geeking out over astrology or thrifting for vintage treasures. At her core, Gracie Luna is dedicated to showcasing each of her clients unique beauty - one stunning look at a time.
